About

The department serves the western part of Denmark concerning tissue typing and matching before organ and stem cell transplantation.

The methods applied include:

• Low and high resolution HLA typing by RT-PCR, SBT and NGS
• Detection of HLA immunization by CDC and solid phase assays (Luminex)
• Serological cross-matching before transplantation (CDC and flow cytometry)

 The laboratory is EFI accredited for all transplant-related analyses.
