Research at the Department of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine includes clinical and translational science within areas such as Type 2 Diabetes and obesity, calcium metabolic disorders, rare disorders as well as diseases within the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. To this end we have two large, affiliated research laboratories with highly educated research staff and state of the art equipment. Clinical research is performed in clinical trial units.
