Research at the Department of Respiratory Diseases and Allergy covers basic, translational and clinical medicine with specific focus on allergy, tuberculosis and other respiratory infections, and interstitial lung diseases.

The department hosts a clinical trial unit, a laboratory for respiratory physiology and a dedicated laboratory for translational and basic research. We collaborate closely with relevant Danish and Scandinavian colleagues within the fields of allergy, tuberculosis, interstitial lung diseases and other respiratory diseases.

We are active in the following fields: Allergy, interstitial lung diseases, COPD, sarcoidosis, fungal infections, bronchiectasis and tuberculosis.
