The Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research Unit at Aarhus University Hospital conducts clinical laboratory research related to all phases of coagulation and different patient populations in risk of either bleeding or thrombosis. Our aim is to translate advances in basic laboratory work to daily clinical practice.

Besides the methods mentioned above a broad spectrum of highly specialised coagulation analyses are performed in the specialised Thrombosis and Haemostasis Laboratory at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry.
