The different symptomatology in community-acquired pneumonia in elderly compared to younger patients is studied. According to the Pneumonia Severity Index (PSI) and CURB-65 used in the emergency departments, the prevalence of tachypnea and fever is evaluated. Other studies on the ADAPT (Adaptive Process Triage) system are ongoing.
