The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a part of the Centre for Paediatric Rheumatology and participates in an international scientific network on the temporomandibular joint and the risk for abnormal development of the mandible with focus on MRI diagnostic criteria, the use of intra-articular steroids, cytokine level and pathology, orthopaedic treatment and reconstructive surgery.
