New network for spouses of international employees
02.05.2017
Central Denmark Region has become part of a new network for spouses/partners of internationally recruited employees.
The spouses/partners of internationally recruited employees in Central Denmark Region can now join the IDCN network Jutland-Funen free of charge. IDCN is short for International Dual Career Network and established by a number of large companies including Arla, LEGO, Vestas, Aarhus University and Central Denmark Region.
The purpose of the network is to facilitate job seeking for accompanying spouses/partners and ensure they are settling down, their competencies are developed and that they are integrated in the Danish society.
Significant importance
- We have many international employees in Central Denmark Region and experiences show that their wish to continue to work in Denmark is very dependent on whether their spouse/partner settles down socially and becomes part of the labour market. I am very pleased that we now can offer spouses and partners accompanying international employees to be a part of this network free of charge, says Anders K. Kristensen, Diversity Consultant, Human Resources Department in Central Denmark Region.
The first network meeting in the IDCN network Jutland-Funen takes place on 15 May at Arla in Aarhus. More information and registration at the network website.
