Aarhus University Hospital part of international consortium to study new type of proton therapy

The Danish Center for Particle Therapy (DCPT) at Aarhus University Hospital has just become part of a international consortium who will study ultra-high dose rate cancer treatments with protons.
The consortium consists of 13 proton therapy centers in Europa and the US. The new type of proton therapy is called flash therapy and has already showed promising results in preclinical and translational studies.
