Post-doc study

MD PhD Arzu Bilgin-Freiert, Neurosurgery.

Purpose: A prospective, randomized, patient-assessor blinded, sham controlled pilot study investigating whether remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) can prevent vessel spasms and reduce final infarct volume and improve functional outcome after SAH. This pilot study is a post-doc initiative from department of neurosurgery in collaboration with departments of anesthesiology and neuroradiology.
