Diagnosis in giant cell arteritis in Central Denmark Region the diagnostic value of PET-CT scanning, ultra sonographic scanning of large vessels and histological examination of biopsies aterior temporalis is systematically evaluated.

A large cohort of treatment naive giant cell arteritis is established including clinical, imaging, and blodsample biobanks.
