The Centre for Oral Health in Rare Diseases covers the western part of Denmark with a population of approx. 3 million.
In collaboration with Institute of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark and departments of odontology at Aarhus and Copenhagen universities, a PhD study describing craniofacial morphology in patients with hypophosphatemic rickets is in its final stage.
Several studies describing dental and orofacial characteristics of rare diseases (e.g. osteogenesis imperfect, amelogenesis imperfect, Moebius sequence, ectodermal dysplasia) are ongoing.
