Maxillofacial nursing

Studies to evaluate and secure the quality of nursing to maxillofacial patients. 
Investigations with focus on oral hygiene, diet, body weight and quality of life have been conducted on a large number of our surgical patients. This has lead to new treatment procedures and an improved quality of care. 
Some of the studies are ongoing, and a prospective study comparing two different measures to protect the eye globe during surgery has been initiated in May 2012.
