About

The department performs basic and advanced serological analyses concerning:

• Blood grouping and detection of immunization
• Direct antiglobulin tests incl. IgG, C’, IgM and IgA
• Causes of severe adverse events after blood transfusion
• Hemolytic disease of the foetus and newborn
• Cold agglutinins

Genomic blood grouping is performed detecting foetal DNA in maternal blood and blood grouping of recipients is performed after multiple transfusions.
