Jasper Nijkamp will define Health's honours programme in the future. As newly appointed programme director, he will have the academic responsibility for the two-year honours programme which is aimed at the faculty's most talented students.

Associate Professor Jasper Nijkamp from the Danish Centre for Particle Therapy has 16 years of experience of research and innovation in health technology. He is a former Novo Nordisk Biomedical Design Fellow, and works in the interface between oncology, surgery and digital imaging at the Department of Clinical Medicine. From 1 May this year, Jasper Nijkamp is also programme director for the Health faculty's honours programme.
