Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care includes two individual departments, each with its own individual management team:

• Department of Anaesthesiology
• Department of Intensive Care

Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care is internationally acknowledged and renowned for our state-of-the-art services meeting the highest international standards within almost all specialised fields of anaesthesiology and intensive care.
We participate in international research networks and collaborate closely with a number of specialised departments at Aarhus University Hospital and Aarhus University. We are also very dedicated to pre- and post-graduate training and education.
